1/2 Poncirus, 1/2 Clementine
A Citrandarin. Developed by John Brown of Texas. As the CiClem name implies, it was one of a number of crosses with Clementine mandarin, which readily sets hybrids. This particular cultivar has fruit the size of an egg with light orange flesh and is sometimes called the golden lime. When diluted with an equal amount of water the juice makes a good limeade drink. The tree is spreading and large with few thorns on bearing wood.
Flavor:
Sour lime, some off-flavors, fair to good quality. [1][2] p. 21
